I’ve been painting Buffalo Bills legends for years now, and this collection pulls together some of my favorite pieces. One fun personal note: Bruce Smith is actually from my hometown in Virginia. Growing up, everybody knew his name. And years later, I was out clubbing in Virginia Beach and randomly saw Jim Kelly and Bruce Smith hanging out together. Wild moment — and now I get to paint both of them. Life’s funny like that.

Josh is just fun to paint. Big, physical, fearless, and emotional — all the things that translate perfectly into loose acrylic work. I try to push the brushstrokes a little more chaotic with his pieces, because that’s Allen: power, speed, swagger, and a little bit of backyard football magic.
He’s the modern face of Bills Mafia, and those deep blues and bold highlights make for some of my most dynamic compositions.

Kelly was the quarterback that made the no-huddle dangerous. When I paint him, I’m not chasing hyper-realism — I try to capture that confident, no-fear posture he carried in every snap. Loose acrylics, quick marks, and that leadership energy Bills fans know so well.
Bruce Smith – Defensive Dominance
This one’s personal for me. Bruce Smith grew up right where I did in Virginia. The NFL’s all-time sack leader is built for expressive painting — heavy contrasts, strong lines, and that unstoppable forward momentum.
And yeah, seeing him years ago at a club in Virginia Beach with Jim Kelly is still one of those surreal memories I’ll never forget.
