I’m starting a new Denver Nuggets painting series featuring Nikola Jokić, Jamal Murray, and Aaron Gordon. Each piece is acrylic on canvas with loose, expressive brushwork.
I’ve been having a blast creating a new series of basketball paintings including this one, the Denver Nuggets, and I’m kicking things off with three current fan favorites: Nikola Jokić, Jamal Murray, and Aaron Gordon. Each piece is painted with acrylic on canvas, using my loose, expressive style that lets the brushwork stay bold and energetic—perfect for capturing the pace and emotion of NBA basketball.
Nikola Jokić Painting – Acrylic on Canvas
A painterly tribute to the Joker’s one-of-a-kind game. I focused on movement, posture, and atmosphere rather than tight detail, letting color and texture do most of the storytelling.
Jamal Murray Art – Acrylic on Canvas
This piece leans into dynamic angles and layered brushwork to bring out Murray’s scoring confidence and fluid shooting form.
Aaron Gordon Art – Acrylic on Canvas
A larger, more physical composition with strong marks and high contrast to match Gordan’s impact in the paint.
