My Assignment Demo: Watch Me Tackle the Same 10 Poses

You did the assignment. You watched the student reel. Now watch me do the exact same 10 poses in real-time - mistakes, corrections, and thinking process included. No editing, no perfection, just structure under pressure.

You just watched the head drawing student assignment reel. Now watch me do the exact same thing. Same 10 poses. Same 5-minute timer. Same pressure.

Why This Matters

Watching an instructor work in real-time - with mistakes, corrections, and thinking out loud - teaches you more than a polished final drawing ever could.

You'll see:

  • How I start each pose (egg shape, sail method, tube construction)
  • Where I second-guess myself and adjust
  • What I prioritize in 5 minutes vs what I skip
  • How I handle tough angles (extreme top views, looking up from below)
  • When I talk myself through the structure

No editing. No cheating. No perfect drawings.

Just me, a timer, and the same assignment you're doing.

Did you know? This lesson is part of a complete step-by-step head drawing course. If you haven't watched from the beginning I highly recommend you do so to get the most out of this lesson.

Ready? Hit play and watch me work through the same challenge.

What You'll Learn

Decision-making under pressure. When you only have 5 minutes, you can't overthink. You have to commit to construction lines, place features, and move on.

Multiple construction methods. I switch between egg shapes, sail method, and tube construction depending on the angle. You'll see when each method works best.

Thinking process. I talk through every decision - where to place the ear, how to handle foreshortening, why I'm adjusting the skull shape mid-drawing.

Mistakes in real-time. I draw ears too big, necks too thick, and skulls that need adjusting. Then I fix them. That's the process.

Compare Your Work

After you finish your assignment:

  1. Watch the student reel (Lesson 21)
  2. Watch my demo (this lesson)
  3. Compare approaches

No two people draw exactly the same. That's fine. The goal is solid construction, not copying my style.
