Red Sox Legends: Loose, Expressive Baseball Paintings
Original, loose paintings of Red Sox greats, from Ted Williams to Big Papi. Baseball filtered through bold color and brushwork.
Baseball is a story passed down from one generation to the next, and nobody tells it quite like the Boston Red Sox.
This is my Red Sox Legends collection: original paintings of some of the greatest players to ever wear the uniform, done in loose, expressive brushwork and bold color. From Ted Williams’ sweet swing to Pedro Martinez on the mound, I’m after the feel of the player more than a photo of him.

Why I paint baseball
I grew up playing ball and loved it. I played all the way through high school, and I always felt a little underappreciated. I never made the all-star team, and my dad wasn’t the coach. (I’m joking. Mostly.)
Senior year, my attention drifted to my 1970 Mustang and, well, girls. Baseball took a back seat. But the game never left me, and now I get to paint it.
I’m not after photorealism. I want the energy, the attitude, and the legacy: Ortiz launching a clutch homer, or the quiet confidence of Yaz and Johnny Pesky. Mood over mechanics, feeling over form.

Who’s in the collection
- Ted Williams: the greatest hitter who ever lived
- Pedro Martinez: fire, flair, and Cy Young dominance
- David Ortiz: Boston’s clutch king
- Carl Yastrzemski: the Triple Crown warrior
- Johnny Pesky
- Jim Rice, Roger Clemens, and more on the way
Each piece is one-of-a-kind, painted on archival watercolor or mixed media paper, from 9x12 up to 18x24 inches. They’re signed and ship ready to frame.

This isn’t mass-produced merch. It’s original art for fans who want something personal and a little raw. It looks great in a home, office, man cave, or Fenway shrine.
