Original Kitchen & Food Paintings - McDonalds French fries

Tomatoes, onions, olive oil, seasoning bottles, and whatever else is hanging around the kitchen. Sometimes the best painting subjects are sitting right in front of us, bro.

I love taking ordinary cooking ingredients and kitchen staples and turning them into colorful, expressive artwork.

From the Kitchen to the Canvas

My original food paintings combine acrylics, watercolor, and mixed media with bold brushwork, unexpected colors, and plenty of experimentation.

Some subjects are simple vegetables. Others are familiar grocery products, spice containers, or bottles with interesting shapes and labels.

I start with structure, then loosen things up. No need to paint every little detail when a few energetic marks can tell the story.

These paintings are a fun fit for kitchens, dining rooms, restaurants, or anywhere that could use a little color and personality.
