Original Denver Nuggets Paintings — Jokić, Murray & Gordon

Basketball is loaded with movement, energy, and personality. Perfect ingredients for loose, expressive painting, bro.

This Denver Nuggets series features three standout players: Nikola Jokić, Jamal Murray, and Aaron Gordon.

Each original is painted with acrylics on canvas, using bold brushwork, layered colors, and spontaneous marks to capture the action without getting bogged down in tiny details.

Nikola Jokić — The Joker

There's nobody quite like Jokić. His unusual rhythm, incredible court vision, and relaxed playing style make him a fascinating painting subject.

I focused on posture, movement, and atmosphere, letting the paint do plenty of the talking.

Jamal Murray — Pure Energy

Murray brings speed, confidence, and fluid movement to the court.

For this painting, I pushed the angles, layered the brushwork, and kept things loose to capture his scoring style.

Aaron Gordon — Power & Movement

Gordon is all about athleticism and physical presence.

I used strong contrasts, bold shapes, and energetic marks to emphasize his power around the basket.
