Learn Mixed Media Art With Me

Create loose. Experiment freely. Find your own style.

Want to create loose, expressive mixed media art without worrying about every mark, layer, or brushstroke? You're in the right place.

I'm Robert Joyner, and I believe art gets a whole lot more interesting when you stop chasing perfection and start exploring possibilities.

Whether you're just getting started or you've been creating art for years, I'll help you simplify your subjects, experiment with materials, and develop a more personal approach to mixed media art.

Start Here: The Mixed Media Deconstruction Lab

Learn to build it. Then break it apart.

Five courses. One complete system for creating loose, expressive mixed media art.

The Mixed Media Deconstruction Lab is built around one idea: construct to deconstruct.

First, learn how drawing, value, color, and composition work. Then learn to simplify, combine materials, experiment with layers, and break away from rigid techniques.
